Of tablets and halloween!

Recently, I treated myself to a new intuos4 [large] sized tablet as mentioned before! And in the month that I’ve owned it, I can say, I absolutely LOVE it! It has definitely made inking and colouring that much easier, I can understand why a lot of digital artists prefer the intuos3’s and 4’s for their sketching and inking, mind you, wacom’s graphire3 served me well and the bamboo fun was great too, but maybe not really cut out for inking or drawing? Either way, I’m definitely sticking with the Intuos4 until the magical day that I could afford a cintiq…one day…

A video of me colouring that lineart. Should have it finished soon, then that would be 4 out of 11 images of my cryptic art project, I’ll be so glad when it’s all finished, thank goodness some of the images will be inked by pen. Digital inking may be easier with this tablet, but no tablet could take the tediousness out of inking, period!

A halloween themed wip that I just finished this evening and now is up on deviantart. I swear this is the fastest cg session ever. It’s like I started Wednesday, Thursday morning I was more than halfway done and tonight, a few brush strokes later it’s done! I love this tablet!!
