Summer and spam!

I seriously cannot wait for the summer to arrive. To be finished school and hopefully get that B mark I want for chemistry. To be back to regularly blogging, drawing and updating my galleries online and of course on the site. I have less than a week to go and I hope it all goes through smoothly. That reminds me, I need to buy my tickets for Anime North and FanExpo. Hope to get some cute figimas and nendoroids this year if I’m lucky and it doesn’t cost an arm and a leg…
Speaking of blogging, not sure if it’s because people are noticing this place more but I’ve been getting a lot of spam here. Not sure what’s going on but it’s annoying as all hell! And for some reason it’s all targeted towards the guestbook. I’m trying to find some sort of plugin to protect the gb but no luck so far, any suggestions? Last thing anyone wants to see is a bunch of comments and all of them are for viagra/cialis/adult friend finder. Better yet, why do I keep getting these kinds of ads in the first place? Last time I checked I wasn’t male…oh internet, sometimes you just baffle me!
I’m pretty excited for this Summer too, also, you need to get your spam bot issue under control.
For sure! I just need to figure out what I need and how to control the spam is the thing *headdesk*!
It’s normal to have spam comments when your blog is listed in google search. All you have to do is install Akismet plugin and say goodbye to spam messages =)
I’m looking forward to summer too even though I’ve got no schools to get rid of lol. Good luck with your studies. I hope you’ll do well in your papers ^^
Yup I have Akismet going, yet still a few spam comments manage to get by, I think it’s the guestbook generator I’m using. Should really get a new one that uses those recaptcha things XP. And thank you :D!
