Of tablets and halloween!
0Recently, I treated myself to a new intuos4 [large] sized tablet as mentioned before! And in the month that I’ve owned it, I can say, I absolutely LOVE it! It has definitely made inking and colouring that much easier, I can understand why a lot of digital artists prefer the intuos3′s and 4′s for their sketching and inking, mind you, wacom’s graphire3 served me well and the bamboo fun was great too, but maybe not really cut out for inking or drawing? Either way, I’m definitely sticking with the Intuos4 until the magical day that I could afford a cintiq…one day…

Sketches lead to even more doodles!

More boredom induced pen doodles. It was a quiet night shift, I found scraps of paper and went to town, hence the pokemon themed doodles, they caused a coworker to squeal with delight when she noticed the little Pikachu one. Should really try drawing some “serious” pokemon art and see where it goes. The other two are from morning shifts a little while ago. I really should carry a sketchbook(and a better pen) with me for those quiet moments at work…and hope to not get in trouble!

Found this nice plugin that allows you to play mp3 files in blog posts after reading an art blog post. So not wanting to be possibly the only blog out there that doesn’t embed music into posts, I went ahead and installed the audio player. It’s a welcome change to how things are usually done. Do you find listening to music helps when drawing or doing specific hobbies? In case you’re wondering the name of the song is Cyber Dance(a remix version) and it’s from the Disgaea2 Arranged Soundtrack.
In other news school is done and now I can finally get back into sketching, cging and revamping the look of tranquil solace!
